Red face Some Oblivion Exploits

Quote:
Hint: Infinite Money Glitch
In the Talos district of the Imperial City is the house of a man named Dorian. Enter the house and kill Dorian. When looting his body, highlight his gold and press A (on the XBOX, on the PC press the "use" button)...and keep on pressing. His gold will never run out, giving you access to infinite funds. At any time, you can return to Dorian's house to loot more money from his corpse.

Hint: Stealing From Blind And Mentally Retarded NPCs
I tested this on armor only, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work for any item if it's large enough for your atavism to collide with it.

First off, go to any armor shop that has a piece of armor on display that you want. Jump up onto the shop keep's counter and just run into and knock the armor item off the counter. This is not illegal and noone will even care. Next, keep kicking it by running into it multiple times until you have the item in a corner away from the view of the shop keeper.

The shop owner will actually follow you around the shop while you run about. Get him/her to follow you to the opposite end of the store, then quickly run back to where you placed the armor item. Use the sneak ability and pick it up before they see you. Done.

Someone on the Elderscrolls forums said it doesn't work for PC. But I never tried so I don't know.

Another one that I discovered...

Say you stole stuffz0r and guards agroed.
Now you CANT fast travel to get your bounty off !
Cant even wait. Zhomg, cant kill the guard !
What you do ?

Hold mouse2 (To block) and press space (to yield) and keep running back. Try doing this with the guard VERY FAR.
You'll see "guard accepts your yeild" and after that the dialogue opens...BUT, if you are far away enough, the dialogue doesnt open ! And the guards lose agro, now you can travel anywhere to pay off the bounty ^^

Its tricky to do, but it pwns !

Its probably worthless if you are not a thief, so some people might not get it...
The problem is that when you get attacked by a guard (and thus bounty) you cant fast travel anywhere (as long as the guard is after you). Theres some NPC's that take the bounty off your head, but to get to them you might need to fast travel..

Thus, using the yield exploit you can make the guard get off your ass so you can FT where ever you need to take the bounty off you with ze NPC.

Oh and btw, the yield thing is great. If you attack a friendly by mistake (sometimes people move too much when you cast) you can use it and he will stop attacking you.

I hope that was better ?
*gives up* Only my Lich understands me =x

Guards can't seem to leave the confines of certain areas, and tend to get "stuck" in outside places.

So to gain your energy back, just run slightly off track, into the countryside, and watch as the guards just stop at an invisble barrier

Mark.

In multiplayer rpg's a "hate list" is often used to determine what player an NPC will attack. It's usually the warrior classes job to "control aggro" and be the most hated so that squishy players like mages with low health and armor aren't attacked.

I made a nice script for that in the Arena and the Arena guy would accept my bet and give me 50 lockpicks too

If you sell an item to someone, whilst you are wearing the item, and you are currently mounted on a horse, you get the gold but the item does not leave your inventory.
So you can 'sell' it over and over and over etc.

I have not tested it yet, but read it works on PC.

Find Shady Sam just next to the Imperial City wall north of the stables And yeah, I want that Skeleton Key, but I thought you had to be level 10 to get that quest.

That's because you are gaining skill from USING the skill, not from the spell working on the lock.

It's the same with anything, you can cast the healing spell over and over even though you are at full health and your skill in that school of magic will increase.

Also, once you beat everyone in the arena, you become grand master or something like that. You get this stupid fan that wants to follow you around everywhere. Well, tell him yes, then pickpocket him constantly over and over again. He won't care that you are stealing from him and no one else will either and your skill in sneak skyrockets.

Worked for me!

I'm now the proud owner of all 733t armor from that Imperial city.
