HIS X1600XT IceQ Turbo Review
For those looking for an upgrade to an SM3.0 part, you might be interested in checking out our review of HIS' X1600XT IceQ Turbo graphics card. We compare it against a reference X1600XT as well as a 6800 GS and 6600 GT over multiple settings and resolutions. Check it out here.
What separates the X1600XT IceQ Turbo from the reference offerings is clearly the cooling unit and, unsurprisingly, we see that it uses an Arctic Cooling manufactured cooler, one which HIS has used on many the cards in their IceQ lineup. For the X1600XT IceQ they have employed Arctic Cooling’s classic VGA Silencer which seems to be HIS’ cooler of choice on cards less prone to high temperatures, like the X1600XT.

XFX GeForce 6800 GT with 8 pipelines?
perhaps you mean to say
XFX GeForce 6600 GT!
great review, but i agree the asking price is a bit too steep for the performance offered.
