tv wonder elite has sucky drivers?
did some searches here and saw that ati's multiregion support for the tv wonder elite seems sketchy, but i was indeed able to get pal video in vdub, albeit only at 720x480 (this tv wonder was bought in the us). so i can capture in pal, but the bottom of the picture (lines 481-576 inclusive) is cut off. trying to pick any pal vertical resolution results in an "unsupported" message from vdub. wondering if anyone has had any success capturing in 720x576 or something similar using different drivers for this card (i'm using the current from ati, 6.14.10.102). this is just a vanilla tv wonder elite from ati. any help would be much appreciated as i need to capture pal and i would rather not spend $300 for the newest pci-e aiw when i already have a graphics card and just need tv in. thanks in advance. |
