Default Need tool to adjust 'monitor geometry' for me. Read inside :P

Ok, I have an old IBM Thinkpad laptop from about 6 years ago or something. It has S-Video out (amazingly), and is just fast enough to run popular decoders like XviD and DiVX. I wanna use it as a media center, since I put a Wi-Fi adapter in it and have loads of movies on my local server that it can stream just fine.

Problem is, that when I run TV-Out in PAL mode (European here), I get a black border all the way around. The videocard sucks ass (NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV), and so does the drivers. I KNOW that it is physically possible to fill the whole TV. I know that for 2 reasons. 1: If I switch to NTSC, it properbly expands to fill the whole TV but that f*cks up the colors. 2: There is a positioning panel that lets me position the screen, and I can move it around right out to the borders of my TV. The problem is just... that this dumb panel only supports moving the screen... not adjusting width/heigth. ARGGH!!!

I tried Powerstrip, but I think my videocard is too old. Powerstrip has an "adjust timing" functionality that works on my new laptop, but it is greyed out on the old one. And nothing I do can enable it.

Do ANYONE know a tool that lets you change the width and heigth of the screen like the ATI control panel does??? Or do anyone know if there is a way to edit .inf files or something to change timings ???

Hey, I'm not going to tell you that it's the best tool out there, but this is what I've been using for years now. It is old.

Yeah thx, but I already tried that This tools is just used to test so that you can finetune ur monitor. My problem is that it is the TV out I have problems with. And my TV cant be adjusted that way.

I need a program that can actually adjust the geometry output from the graphics card.
