Hi, I WAS running Halo combat evolved OK on XP SP2 with a radeon 9000 64MB card. I've upgraded the card to a Saphire Radeon 9550 256MB card, but now Halo won't run stating "A problem occured initialising Direct3D. Hardward acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG." I've done this and DXDIAG passes everything OK, and the card has full hardward acceleration set. I'm running DirectX ver 9c. Can anyone help? |

Did you try reinstalling the video drivers? Or the game itself?

Yes, I've loaded the latest catalyst drivers, reloaded halo, and the halo patches. When I put the old Radeon 9000 card back in the game works OK! |
