Default Will there ever be a fix for the ATI Mobility + WUXGA scaling issue?

Just got a new XPS system and right now the ATI drivers don't scale non-native resolutions such as 1680x1050 to full screen. I am told by Dell that this is an ATI driver issue, so I am wondering when it is going to be fixed. Non widescreen resolutions below 1280x1024 scale fine, but they horizontal distortion caused by the different aspect ration is quite bad when doing so.

Just wondering if it's the sort of thing that is fixable through drivers or if it is a hardware limitation. I see the problem is affecting Radeon cards from the 7500 up to the 9800 Pro when paired with a WUXGA (1920x1200) display.

Thanks for any info.

Also, any idea when CCC with Cat AI will be available for the Mobility 9800 cards? Being as it is based on the X800 architecture I am hopeful that we'll see a significant speed increase with these new features.
