yup i see it now specialy on beaches with AA on, i dont usly use AA so never seen it before, so turning AA off will fix these rendering issues, least it does for me anyway, though its not as bad fas what i see in the screenshots here, i only noticed some flickering , i tihnk i read a review somewhere, they when they where benching the game they had the same problem, but turned shadows down to med, and that fixed it, may be worth a shot, its a minor issue to me, im jsut happy multiplayer is beter now |

I don't use AA so I don't have the missing textures. I do have the "flashing" textures with the foliage though. I've tested this with the Fort level. I think the bug with the "orange" colored foliage has been fixed with x800 users, but this is something new that's taken it's place. Also, I wasn't aware there were suppose to be any performance increases with this patch (excluding the SM3.0 option for 6800GT owners). Didn't notice any increases at all with any of my machines running FarCry. |

I am getting the missing textures or wrong textures with AA on like pieces or strips of water in the middle of a grassy area , floating blades of grass or strange looking pillars stretching to the sky and weird prism effects in some areas. I never had this problem with 1.1 patch and I ran it with AA low. I also noticed my card gets hotter than normal when playing Farcary after patch, although I have no idea how a game patch could make the temp of my card go up. One more thing I noticed when walking through grassy areas the tall grass seem much more sparse then it did prior to patch so perhaps they removed some of the vegetation to get better performance and in doing so we now get the missing texture crap. |

Well I uninstalled Farcry and then re-installed it, applied the 1.1 patch and can play with AA again no missing textures and looks a crap load better than that 1.2 mess! |
