I was just wondering if there are more than drivers included. I bought it yesterday from newegg (the ATI RADEON 8500 128MB DDR RETAIL). Seemed like a good price @$165. In the pictures of the card box etc, there is a pic of a half life cd next to the driver disk. Anyone have any info on this or any other software? I searched the forum, ATi's site, various computer stores sites, nobody has any info. Any info is appreciated. Tavi |

Thanks. I wonder if its optimized for the 8500. Not that it matters now, because I already bought it, but is $165 US a good price for a retail 128 8500? Tavi Last edited by Tavi : Aug 7, 2002 at 05:31 PM. |

Yes, the games are optimized for Truform and, yes, you paid an excellent price!!! I paid $460 Canadian ($295 U.S.) for mine back in April. |

Comes with Hlaflife-uplink [whatever that is], counter strike, TFC and death match, however it crashes with the crappy ATI drivers, so your not missing anything except end tasking half-life. Seems like maybe you bought the OEM or at least recieved the OEM edition. contact newegg.com but verify your order first. they are pretty good. |

He hasn't recieved the card yet. Mine came with a driver/DVD player disk, and the Valve games. Also had a DVI to SVGA adapter, Svideo cable and Svideo to RCA adapter. Got mine for $265CDN. ~180US.

There's no point in buying the 128mb version, it doesn't really increase the preformance from 64meg. Just a few FPS. I almost hate myself for not buying 64mb version instead, i paid $70 more than I had to. |
