Cool Awsum 3D Screen Savers; Any body know where to get some?

Well,
as sweet as they are, ATi's screen savers have gotten old. Can anyone here recomend a site with nice 3D screen saver(s)? I think every body would be most apreciative.

I thank you in advance.

I put some on my FTP server. Some of them are from ATi, some are ones i found laying around on the web. I especially like Ambient Flok, it's sooo cool.
The Ati ones are named in 8.3, because they at some point underwent a dos copy, so the long filenames got destroyed. They are the ones that ATi release with PS8.1 support.
The link to the ftp is: Belgarath. There is no password. Be advised that the server is only 512/256, and there is about 10kb/s available BW for download IN ALL, so don't swamp it...

L.

:edit: I capped the download for each user @ 5kb/s, but the files aren't very large, so it's shouldn't be a problem. Also, that way there's a chance more can get the files if they are interested.

thanks.
the ambient flock one is very cool but that Eye4U one just displayes a logo and then closes. smells like spyware or worse.

Hmmm, it didn't do that when i had it installed, but it's a long time since i tried it. I think it was under win98... AFAIR it displays an eye that moves around.
I moved some more over in the folder, try the Firestorm one, it displays transparent flames over your desktop.

The Fish one that comes with the XP Plus pack is really nice. Of course if you want the full version, you have to buy it. :/ This fish look very nice and really realistic under the 8500.

I remember seeing a pretty cool OpenGL fireworks screensaver a while ago (that seriously taxed my Radeon VIVO when cranked). Anybody have a link?

MuFu.

Try the ambient flok one, it taxes most cards, because of all the transparent lines... It also looks nice.

Ambient flock was good and it is the first screen saver i have used that utilised the extended desktop for two monitors and didn't just clone .

Heh, the Ambient Flok reminds me of a Windows Media player visualization.

one of my favorites is this fireflower fireworks thing ...

http://ftp.jumbo.com/savers/3d/fflower162.zip (only about 100kb)

runs smooth and has some pretty realistic fireworks.

http://www.softcom.net/users/mikey71...e_pages16.html

check the bottom of the page:

3d fireworks
3d christmas
3d tidal forces

I like tidal forces the best. I got it back when I had a Voodoo 2, card, and it looked awesome. The 3d objects orbit around point gravity wells and look like little spinning galaxies. REALLY COOL.

The screensavers are made by Fred Cass (aka VRMAN), but his webpages are down:

www.vrman.com
www.3damigos.com

I hope he comes back.

[EDIT: you can get the newest tidalforces here]
http://www.megagames.com/news/show.c...ion=downloads&

3dtidalforces v. 2.5 supports directx 7. Should run ridiculously fast on an 8500. Looks cool though
