I see that they haven't made it any quieter than previous models. Bigger, and much louder. Obviously not meant for stealth operations of any sort.

I can see these things doing all sorts of things by themselves via gps and tons of sensors..hauling construction supplies back and forth, delivering packages, search and rescue missions in rough terrain/weather, guard units or sentries, etc

within a related article it states that Boston Dynamics is the eighth robotics company that Google has acquired in the last half-year. That's insane I didn't even know Google was into robotics.
