Default Disk Boot Failure, keeps coming up at boot up

My friends computer was recently formated. He isnt very skilled, i knew i shouldnt have just given him the OS cd and have him do it by himself. Now his computer is weird. He had it at first boot from the cd to start the windows setup. After everything got installed i told him to go back in BIOS and have the first boot device floppy second the HDD and then third the cd-rom like it was to begin with. However now,

Default

The first boot device should be hd that might solve his problem. because it happen to me and that fix it. Make sure the onboard ide controller it on also.

no floppy was left in, and what is HDD-0?? Would that be the correct one for 1st Boot Device or should it be HDD-1

It should be hdd-0 if it's set up correctly.
