SVCD = blah

It's seriously ugly.

But if you're determined to play your stolen movies on your vanilla DVD player, your best bet (takes a long time and a lot of space) is to grab VirtualDub, resave the film as a raw AVI, and then point Nero to that and use the "Make SVCD" option. It'll re-encode using the exact format you want.

This probably belongs into general software.
But until it get's moved... Nero is capable of converting movie files to Video and SVideo CDs.

If you use virtual dub theres no telling how many disks it would take for one movie. Nero should take care of it just fine.

Can also use a program called DVD2SVCD you will require an MPEG2 decoder Qencode is free and works fairly well. This program is slow but gives high quality results.

I use TMPGenc for transcoding and DVD Author for DVD authoring
Also use VirtualDub when necessary.
