does anyone have a breakdown of the common proteins and their point values? for some reason I think i always get stuck with huge proteins cause my "points to WU" ratio is like 2:1

Its really frustrating when a K6-2 gets a ProteinA - chances are it won't finish it in time. I have recently had a lot of bad luck - 5 or 6 NativeBBA5s on my Athlon Tbird rig. ProteinAs are my fav proteins - sure they take some time, but they are definately worth it.

DavidN, My weakest folder is a K6-2 300Mhz. It finishes a ProteinA in 7 days or just under. But it does have to fold 24/7 to do it!

I have three machines cranking on 5 pointers right now. They will all be completed within the next day...I hope. I need a point boost. Edit: Make that four machines working on these big WUs. Not sure what the other two are doing right now. I should pick up over 20 points this weekend. Last edited by MSM80 : Apr 5, 2002 at 02:35 PM. |

It seems like it's all I've been getting the past week on all three machines. It's frustrating when my production for a day is zero and then, bam, I get 15 points. Oh, well. It's either .8, 1.6, 2.0 throughout the day or 5, 10, 15 every other day.

i like the 1APS. Finishes in about 1/4 - 1/3 of the time of a proteinA and is worth 4 points. Too bad i've only seen a couple of them of my machine...

My computer's done 4 BBA5 units since yesterday. Haven't seen my score adjusted in anything but 5 point increments the last few days though. This 1.33 Tbird does ProteinA's in about 19 hours and the Celery 1.06Ghz notebook here does them in about 30 hours. edit: It seems that my numbers have been adjusting by something other than 5 point increments. statsman has 1100.12 and 628 WUs. stanford says I have 1110.72 and 631 WUs. I don't know where the BBA5 units fit in there.
