Joystick Battlefield 4 PC client patch going live November 14, will improve stability, netcode

The first client-side patch for Battlefield 4 will be going live tomorrow, and will address crashes and netcode.

Specifically on the netcode front, a bug will be eliminated whereby the 'getting killed behind cover' thing will less often be a thing. Also, the Network Smoothing option -- which I recommended you experiment with in the Battlefield 4 Issues and Fixes article -- should yield better results. It's not clear if the ever-popular audio loop crash will be cured, but I'd bet on it.

The actual patch list should be fairly long, but for now, know these are "by far the most important changes in this update", according to developer DICE.
