Default It's getting real in China

I guess the workers have had it.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapc...html?hpt=hp_c1

We knew the unrest was triggered by what appeared to be a minor event -- a pregnant migrant worker and her husband got in a scuffle with city officials and she ended up falling on the ground.
However, the ferocity by which this dispute exploded in a massive conflagration, pitting thousands of enraged workers against hundreds of riot police, took many by surprise.

Out of the countless of revolutions that sparked throughout history, those are two of the very few that went anywhere.

China is a gaint **** hole and it is only a matter of time until the people rise up... maybe this decade, maybe in 40 years.

The Croatian attack quickly reconquered most of the territories from the Republic of Serbian Krajina authorities, leading to a mass exodus of the Serbian population. An estimated 90,000–350,000 Serbs fled shortly before,[21][22] during and after the operation. As a result of this operation, a few months later the Bosnian war ended with the negotiation of the Dayton Agreement. A peaceful integration of the remaining Serbian-controlled territories in Eastern Slavonia was completed in 1998 under UN supervision. Majority of the Serbs who fled from the former Krajina have not returned due to fear of being killed, and the Croatian government has done little to encourage Serbs to return.
You're welcome.
Unless you're a Serb, in which case I'm sorry.

I doubt you'll see any sort of uprising in China any time soon, though within our lifetimes it may happen. I think China will loosen up as information becomes harder and harder to control. Hopefully revolution won't be necessary.

20 000 strikes a year in China have brought up the average wage to 3.10$ an hour. Significant uptick from the 50 cents of a few years ago. But even then things are not happy in slave land. They also need benefits like one or 2 days off. Dental. One or 2 weeks off a year. And a reduction in the whippin.

Prices on things are barely relevant to labor costs for most things. China was always about bean counting. Not making cheaper goods. If factories move back here retailers will just take a small profit hit is all.
