SpiTFir3 is still being judged by the masses

Default Network connections.

This might be the wrong thread but, in my network connections i have a lan/internet connection named "NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller"
and another one "Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family Gigabit Ethernet NIC"

they're both ON my mobo (k8n neo2). Now the other day I couldnt connect to the internet. so i went behind my pc switched the cord from one jack to the other, and disabled the nforce controller and enabled the realtek one. I can connect to the net fine now, but why would the nforce controller just stop working out of nowhere??? and why is there an nforce network controller and a gigabit eternet conroller both on my mobo? :P

it is kinda a screwey way to do things in my oppinion....it is not the end of the world as long as you are now able to connect.....but i would reinstall those drivers they very may well be curupt......
it is not that big of a deal as long as the gigabit jack dose 10/100mbps.

Default

You should check the Nvidia network manager firewall log and see if it is blocking ports when your trying to connect.
