Default 2014 Corolla: Ugliest Car if the Decade?

I understand why they don't want to **** with a formula that works, but it pains me how ****ing boring this car is every iteration, but at least its usually been a cutesy car...

now they took the face of an FRS and stretched it over the skull of a Corolla

Seconded. It's still a Corolla though. I'd take an Elantra before a Corolla.

Has more character than any Corolla since 1986 and I am sure once it gets riced out it will probably look kind of cool.

I think all the sub-compacts are weird little bugs these days.

I only liked older Corolla RWD model (not AE86) with manual transmission. It would be fun if LS1 swap for it. I don't like those rest of all Corolla model.

I liked the 2009-2010 Corolla XRS.

I like the front bumper on the new Non-S way more than on the S model.

I'd rather have my 86 Corolla.

Overall: it's okay I guess.

better than before. 9th gen was tall/narrow looking and 4x4 wheel gap don't help.
10th gen was 9th gen proportioned properly...but the car looked old and outdated before it even hit the road. Oh and interior was absolute shite. 9th gen interior was way better.

This 11th gen isn't ground breaking by any means but at least it looks modern and not old like the last one did.

Its strange how it looks really dumbed down from that Furia concept....but if you look fairly close it matches it almost directly (the character lines seem to have disappeared in the production colors, but its still there).

Toyota needs to learn how to make a car with proper stance....a lot of its look gets ruined with the freaking truck sized wheel gap.....

Opinions are interesting to read sometimes. I hated the 9th gen interior, thought the 10th gen was oodles better.

You were right about the proportions of the 9th gen too, it just seemed off.

Corolla T-Sport in Europe though? Awesome. (TTE Compressor? 'Dat 2ZZ-GE Supercharged goodness!)

Interesting indeed.

What I don't understand is that if I'm not going to spend the money to do better than a Corolla, why should I spring for the $7k in upgrades from the base package to the fully loaded? Its still a Corolla in the end...

A fully loaded 2013 Elantra looks great and the interior is actually pretty nice, for the same price...

Someone bought my old Corolla to send to Africa. He said it was one of the best affordable cars for withstanding the tough climate and roads out there.

There are about 6 other cars in the same price range that managed to get from A to B reliably without looking this bad...

Is there a good looking Toyota other than the FR-S? I can't even honestly name the last good looking Toyota, I didn't even like the Supra. MR2 maybe? The older one, not the feminine looking last ones.

The Supra was pure sex, you're just a crazy person.

Um, the Land Cruiser is really good-looking

I thought the previous Camry was decent in appearance.

You guys are insane, the Supra is wonderful in nearly every way. Like the RX7, it's a timeless design.

As for the Corolla. Utterly boring car. Nothing exciting about it whatsoever. It's for people who hate driving and just want to get from A to B and not bother with the fun bits in between.

Its ok, they're the 2% that feel that way about the Supra's exterior design...

As for the Corolla. Utterly boring car. Nothing exciting about it whatsoever. It's for people who hate driving and just want to get from A to B and not bother with the fun bits in between.
Have you ever seen it in person? It's got a big fugly ass on the back like as GTR lol.

Also, the Corolla can't be the ugliest car of the decade as long as the Fiat 500 still exists.

Of course I have, tons. Portland was the Mecca of Supra's. If you thought you had a fast car, it had better be over 700rwhp or the million 800-1000rwhp Supras in the area would eat your lunch.
