Default The really bad screenshot thread

Ok, here's the idea: take the newest games (or recent, anything that doesn't already look bad) and run it at the lowest possible settings except for resolution.

Satisfy my curiosity

Okay, I'll bite.

Doom3, no shadows, no bumpmapping, (texture resolution still on high though), 1024x768 2xAA 8xAF:

here's a couple of Battlefield Vietnam, lowest graphics, lowest texture settings

surprisingly, the game doesn't look too bad with these low settings

QUOTED FOR DAMN TRUTH ^ 1000000000000 POWER

Gamespot appears to go out of their way to make a games graphics look infintely worse than what it really looks like.

I dont know how or why publishers allow them to post screens.

I wish I had screenies of when I was forced to use my Voodoo3 2000 to play UT2K4 after my Radeon 9500 got mutilated! I played the game at those settings and still only got 10-12 FPS
