Just need to vent...
For ~ 2 weeks I've been waiting to get verified on either Kraken or Bitstamp to start buying/selling XRP.

Well, I'm now verified as of today...where XRP has experienced a 40+% jump

This is exactly what I was anticipating but of the 4-5 different exchanges I have been attempting to get verified through in the last 1+ week, none of them managed to get me through until what I fear now is too late to invest.

I wasn't going to throw much in there, but a minimum of $1K which would have netted me a profit of $400-$500 in 1 day...so much for that.

XRP will keep going up. It's not too late to jump in.

It may hit 1.25, but doubtful it will go much higher than that -- although $1.50 is not out of the realm of possibility if it's featured on coinbase.

However, I had $1K set aside to buy at $0.72, and would have netted a healthy 50% return.

I cant believe people still use coinbase. I guess you weren't around for their scam years ago. Held everyone coins hostage, no cash outs, etc.

Big crash today. http://www.businessinsider.com/bitco...ber-22-2017-12

Bitcoin just dropped below $11K. I'm not too concerned, will mostly likely rebound after the holidays.

Ripple on the rise. Could well hit $10 in 2018, but the people thinking it will ever get to bitcoin levels are deluded. Simply too many coins in circulation, with twice as many more sitting in escrow.

So what do you guys think about the new tax laws regarding crypto currency? Looks like every crypto transacrion will be a taxable event. Seems like this would be a difficult thing to track. For example, I bought 23475 reddcoin for 0.01553287 BTC at 66 sat. I could sell it today at 86 sat, but the sat value is always relative to the current BTC value (AFAIK). It's going to be a huge headache to keep track of this.

Buying these alt coins reminds me of trading penny stocks. It normally doesn't end well. Spend some play money on it, but for ****s sake don't refinance your house to buy this stuff.
