Default I am trying to do more around the house

As my wife's career advances, she is working more and more. So even though I have always tried to be productive and helpful around the house, lately I feel like I can and should do more.

In looking for tips on how to be a better spouse and life partner, I found this video which contains some helpful hints. I can't wait until my wife gets home tonight so I can show her what I'm learning about.

With my work travel combined with my wife going full time in her career I said **** it, went KAC style three months ago and got a maid. Best thing I ever did -- the amount of fighting it has reduced is worth every penny.

My son and I can now piss freely, not worrying if we miss the toilet ever again.

Perhaps you two should try sitting to urinate. The poor maid!

First thing you should do is knit yourself a little sack to put your nutz into and hand them over to your "life Partner"

In a lot of cases, it's just little things. Without being in your household, it would be hard to make suggestions but things to think about that help the other spouse:
  • Put dishes/glasses left out in the dishwasher.
  • Similarly, when the dishwasher is done, put everything away.
  • Take clothes out of the washer/dryer when they are done.
  • If there is food/drink the family uses all the time, just pick it from the store when you know you are out or about out (like milk).
  • etc...

Again, just little things. It's the little things that annoy people but also the things that people will notice when they don't have to do them.

Bless you.

More arguments in our house have been from lack of help. Guys just aren't taught to see the mess the same way women are... and then a large swath of our culture considers housework "women's work" when hey, nowadays both members work outside the home and you both live there.

The best thing to me is if the house isn't a mess - if things are put away, I'm not tripping over someone's big monster size shoes or finding jackets, socks, drinking glasses, contents of pockets and bags all over the place, it helps. Just putting things away -- dumb things like having the pillows placed on the couch or the bed made if you were the last one out. Dirty laundry in the hamper rather than wherever it landed on the floor, no giant pile of dishes in the sink and across the counter (and clean counters) all would make coming home a billion times better.

From there... hire someone to clean. It's a fantastic investment in peace to the house. We can't afford it right now, but while I was working full time AND designing a big restaurant and event hall on the side (and getting 4 hours sleep a night), coming home to a clean house was such an incredible gift.

Finally watched the cleavage cleaner video.

Anyone else notice when she is giving the vinegar/baking soda treatment to the dishwasher -- the disgusting stains and mess on the tile flooring to the right of the dishwasher?

My wife has way better tits and cleaning regimen, this chick is more about hiding smells than actually cleaning.

You should know by now that having some attractive female doing a video about "cleaning" is likely not going to provide useful tips about "cleaning".
