Kinda wish they could have showed at least 10 seconds of gameplay? Or some new CGI trailer. This announcement didn't really give us much. I have faith but I can't get excited until I see more

I'm liking the viking type setting.

Fingers crossed for an optional isometric view, but I'm 99% certain it will be omitted like W2

If you value this company and these games then pay up you scum bags!

I really hope the open world does not dilute the quality of the story. However the prospect of skyrim done "right" is pretty mouth watering.

I guess my Haswell upgrade will come at a good time since I won't worry about how this game will run on a new system. I am hoping that the game is still 3D Vision ready with Red Engine 3.

Does anyone know if they mentioned if it would use DX11 or not anywhere?

Pics look good and it seams that Gerald like Oliver will go to a small people island.

I have no doubts it will be a dx11 game if they will make it dx11 only that is to be seen, btw to the ones that don't know a dx11 engine can have dx10 and dx9 features set and so support old hardware very well.

One of the things I like about Skyrim is that it is open world and I can create my own player character. Playing Geralt is fun and probably essential to the story, but is much smaller is scope.

IMO, CD Project Red is, what Bioware used to be prior to being bought by EA.

Really excited for this 3rd installment.

It is what any other developer was prior to being purchased by a mega publisher like EA or Activision.

Though yes, this specific developer delivers and continues to do so post release. Need to make sure my backlog is clear when this gets released

A lot of people tend to forget Dragon Age was made after EA bought Bioware, yet it was hailed as one of the best RPGs ever made.
