Default Mods are really what this game is about IMHO.

Man I've started looking at the mods coming out for this game and some are freaking awesome ! I love the Marksman Velocity Mod, Call steed Mod, The saddlebags mod, High rez LOD mod, along with the More Sky Climates mod, Guild Storage/Guild Item Ownership Mod, Color map Mod and BTMod which adds some nice features to the UI and fixes some issues like allowing you to see more stuff in your inventory etc... I might try the portable tent mod once it's been cleaned up a bit. Really mods are what add a ton of replay to this game and make it even better then it was when it first came out.

Yea, mods fix pretty much any gripe you can have with this game.

Yup for those complaining about the leveling speed of the game saying it was to fast there is a mod to slow things down.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.co....Detail&id=199

For those complaining about the type of loot found on mobs there is one that gimps loot found on mobs.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.co....Detail&id=234

Seriously the mod community in this game is freaking outstanding and the modding potential for this game is beyond compare to most other CRPG games of this calibur.

Can you guys imagine how this game will look/play/feel 6-12 months from now
More weapons, armor, user made quests, added lands, improved textures, sounds and so on

And here I was thinking that KOTOR was a HUGE game :/

Yeah...speaking of looks...

Try enabling SuperSampling AA with 4xAA and take a peek at that.

WOW. I don't know what kind of textures they used with the rocks, trees, and walls in this game, but holy crap they really POP out when SSAA is used. Looks crazy good. Although, I had to turn it off when I came to a heavily forested area because of the tree branches and all the individual leaves that SSAA was processing.

I can't wait for the next generation of boards though, this game will run great and will be able to have that enabled all the time.

I can't stop my self from looking at the really crap tree's . Ok really crap is a exageration but they are all 2d/3d hybrids . Go to a small tree or bush, sure the thing it self is 3d but its leave's are all 2d. You move around it and the leaves follow you.

Now i can't stop noticing it.
I know, i know its the best we can get with the amount of stuff onscreen but i wish i didn't notice it as its offputting.

I'm sure i'll forget about them in a few days

NM supersampling AA as it would kill my already slowish (outside) oblivion, i just want AA to work with HDR. If not now at least in the future so when i get a ATI card (r600) it will look even better. Then i will crank the grass up mega high so that i won't need much "higher" res textures because the whole land will be covered by grass .

They need to be 2d/3d hybrids... Stand anywhere and then press the console key, type "twf" and you'll find out why the game is so damn sluggish. 3D leaves... Horrible thought!

Anyway, I'm still missing a Magic Arrow mod. Yeah I know you can just bound a bow, but I want to make people porcupines with my bare hands

You can get to your saddle bags on your horse by crouching in stealth mode. This allows you to access the compartment on your horse.

P.S. Make sure you turn on the mods by going to Data Files before luanching the game at game launcher window.

I dont really feel inclined to install any of the mods on those sites... Maybe if they had something to add in gibs or some kind of violent effects . The one that increases sneak damage was enticing, but the people commented that it makes you way to powerful.

Well try it out.

I know the deadlier sneaking mod actually FIXES sneaking, because a master sneak doesnt bypass armor and its supposed to be. The master perk actually doesnt work.
