Thunderbolt1990 is still being judged by the masses

Default I need help with HIS Radeon 6870 Turbo OC.

Im trying to oc my radeon 6870 turbo from stock: 900/1050 to 970/1170.

I read that this is safe for my card to change voltage to 1.3V and bump fun to 60% (its very noisy then but...) to prevent overheating. So i did. I used Sapphire Trixx tool. My question is: How to check, is this card running stable now? What tool should i use to check this card after oc?

Just for you to know: I now the risk, and im ok with it. I oc'ed my CPU before and i checked it with prime95 etc. and its running fine.

Sorry for laungage mistakes.

PS. This is my card model: http://www.hisdigital.com/us/product2-575.shtml. My PSU: http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/p...eam_pro_500w/1 . And my motherboard: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870-C45.html .

I use MSI Kombuster (DX9) to run a fullscreen test 4xmsaa. Keep track of temps and use Sapphire TRIXX to make a custom fan profile so that its quiet at low temps and more fan at high temps.

You can use Furmark to check for overclocking stability. That damn fuzzy donut sucks up a lot of GPU power so if your card is going to freak out from being overclocked it will do it when Furmark is running.
