Default Intel 10nm Whitley Lake CPU Benchmark Leaked – Decimates 14nm

"Looks like it's Intel leak season because a benchmark of Intel's upcoming Whitley platform just leaked out, and boy does it have some impressive results. Manufactured on the 10nm process, the Whitley platform will succeed Purley and will (finally) transition Intel's server ecosystem to 10nm. Based on these benchmarks it looks like customers and clients can expect an absolutely huge increase in performance as compared to older generation Xeon parts."

There is talk that these numbers are not accurate because it compares results from two different versions of the benchmark that give drastically different numbers. Don't know what to believe but I think I'll take this one with a very big grain of salt.

It seems to good to be true, but I hope it is. Thank you AMD for getting Intel to stop with the ~15% best case, and you'll prob never see it upgrades.
