Default How much better is the RADEON 32MG DDR mobility from the 16MG DDR Mobility?

I am wanting to buy a new laptop.

I was planning on getting a 16mg DDR RADEON MOBILITY on 4speed AGP.

How much difference is there b/w this and a

1. 32mg RADEON MOBILITY?

2. ATI MobilityTM RadeonTM 7500 with 64MB of DDR RAM?

Is the price difference worth getting either 1 or 2 above?

Well, the original mobility radeon is really a mobile radeon ve(radeon 7000), and loses pretty bad to the GF2GO. The mobility 7500 is nearly identical to the desktop version when plugged in, and is 128 bit vs. 64 bit of the original. The mobility is the fastest notebook solution as of now.

There is a huge price difference n/w the 7500 and the normal Mobility.

Is it worth it?

I mean, I'm satisfied with even 15fps in games.

The performance difference between the regular Mobility Radeon and the Mobility Radeon 7500 is pretty large. The 7500 is essentially a regular Radeon 7500 modified to suck up less power on a laptop. The regular Mobility is pretty much the Radeon VE, 7000, whatever you want to call it. It's pretty much only half a Radeon since it has the HyperZ but is missing the Charisma T&L engine. So if you want a similar comparison, try http://www.digit-life/articles/digest3d/index.html and look at the difference in performance between the Radeon 7000 VE (#23) and Radeon 7500 (#33). The mobile chips are very similar so you can expect a similar performance difference.
And just for reference, the Dell Inspiron 8100 with Mobility Radeon 7500 gets ~4300 in 3dmark2001 with a 1Ghz-Pentium3 and 512MB of PC133 Ram. My computer uses an AIW Radeon (Radeon 32DDR 166/166) with a 1Ghz Pentium3 and 512MB of PC133 Ram and it only gets ~3000 in 3dmark2001 when fully tweaked. Conclusion: the Mobility 7500 is pretty damn fast.

I currently have a desktop :

P3, 450, 128 RAM, ATI RADEON 32SDR. I am quite happy with the performance of this system

You think I'll notice any decline going to the Inspiron 4100 w/ a MOBILITY RADEON 32DDR AGP 4 speed?

Well, if you're replacing your desktop, and plan to do gaming at all(remember the Video you get with it is what you'll have for the lifetime of it)I'd strongly suggest a machine with a GF2GO or the 7500(preferably the 7500 as it is quite a bit faster).
