Steam Link App coming to mobile OSes
Interesting, I´ve vaguely pondered getting a steam link or nvidia Shield TV.
Steam link is a bit old now, doesnt support 4k and HDR etc.
Shield is quite a bit more expensive, but it seems to have grown into a very competent media machine outside of the streaming from PC stuff.
Feels like the Steam Link App should run fine on there aswell, which would have you pretty well covered on the streaming from desktop side of things.
Saw something a while ago about some modern TVs getting a built in Steam Link app enabling streaming of 4k, moving all this stuff into an app sorta removes the need for them to release a updated steam link, could just rely on whatever hardware is out there on the market running the supported OSes.
you jump out of that plane and that parachute doesnt open, the helmet is now wearing YOU for protection. -JS
