Sounds about right, your CPU looks like it would be a bottleneck.

not bad at ALL for no overclocking. Yeah overclocking does indeed help a bit. Unfortunately the 2200+ doesn't overclock much so you'll probably have to rely on overclocking the radeon 9700 itself for good point gains. But hey if you can up the FSB just a few on the CPU it'll still help ya out! You should be able to up your score at least 1,000, but probably closer to the 1,500+ range with new drivers installed.

FYI I get the same score with my system. no overclocking and stock settings on both the 9700 and 3dmark.

I'm getting about 13,300-ish with my Crucial 9700 Pro.

Very happy with the card- better than the GF3Ti200 I had before

My system:

ABit BD7-II, P4 [email protected], 512Mb Corsair RAM at 170MHz.

shurleydude....y`am using the latest drivers:6193 on the WIN XP(sp1)

SsP45....yes, but you have 512Mb Corsair RAM at 170MHz - and y have only 384 ddr dimm infinion pc2100 at 133 so ... , y think that this is a (important) difference ...

question:

How big is an diference betwen the: 384 ddr dimm infinion pc2100 at 133 and 512Mb Corsair RAM at 170MHz .... how will this increase my scores? ... a lot or it`s absourd, foolish to do the CHANGE?...tanx

ok..thank you...y`m seeing that everything is FINE and my scores are VERY GOOD, SO IS MY HERCULES 9700PRO...very inpresive card (...if you by it-you must check that is 1.33 revision!!)

My first score sucked till I uninstalled the original drivers and installed the beta's from ati. Turned Agp write back to on as well. Now everything runs great!

Im wondering if my score is to high then i was suprised as it was to get over a 2500pt increase im getting about a 12k score with junk on my harddrive.

But my cpu is much smaller than those 2k ones.

IMO, those Game 1 and Game 3 scores are quite good for a Geforce 4 Ti4200. They must be really CPU intensive, considering my old setup (P4 [email protected] and 9700 Pro) gets beat by yours in only those two tests.
