Default AOL instant messenger is causing problems with Outlook and Windows Messenger

Yeah It's not DX 9.0 or even Ati drivers, that's a bullshit.

I installed Aol Instant Messenger the latest version. So everytime when I start outlook AOL Messenger is starting with it instead of Windos Messenger. It takes a lot of time for outlook to load up. So I went to option 'Set Programs Access and Defaults' and guess what ****ing Aol changed the default option, it's Aol instead of Windows. So I managed everything and now is ok

A question is how many of you have AOL Instant Messenger installed?

It's because you're stupid.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Radeon Drivers and Catalyst Discussion, take it to General Software or better yet, to www.aol.com.

And stay there.

Nervous? LOL no. I simply have a grudge against you.

But you know what, since I'm a nice guy, I'll tell you. Be careful because this is a n00b guide.

GUIDE FOR SETTING DEFAULT INSTANT MESSENGER APPLICATION IN WINDOWS XP FOR n00bs

Step 1: Click your Start button, go up to Settings, and click Control Panel, as seen in the following illustration.

You should see your control panel. It should look similar to this illustration for those of you who are mentally impaired.

In your Control Panel, you will need to double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. If you are not aware of which icon this is, it is the highlighted icon in the above picture.

Your Add/Remove Programs list box should pop up now. In the left hand side, click Set Program Access and Defaults. See here:

Now click those sections my two year old, who probably knows Windows better than you, has added to the guide. If you're having trouble at this point, I suggest looking at the parts marked by red lettering and drawn lines. Now you will see the following:

Once again, simply do what my two year old has stated. When you're all done, you may click the OK button at the bottom of the screen.

If this guide was not helpful to you, you may wish to give away all your belongings, steal a shopping cart, and move into the alcove under the nearest bridge.
