Yeah I don't understand what's going on there. I mean, I get why they invented it for the show as a plot device. But how it might work as some sort of one way super GPS tracker just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

It's exceptionally lazy writing. CBF writing a bounty hunter actually following leads to track someone down, F**k it, tracking fob.

Yeah, now that I actually think about it, it's the worst plot device ever. Holy sh!t. This show has been ruined for me.

Ah FFS. Just thinking about Empire. God Damn. Now this? WTF man.

I love that they put Bill Burr in this episode. It's like they're deliberately trying to provoke the SJWs

This show is really getting frustrating. Each episode sets up some potential story arc and then just completely fails to deliver anything at all. A new character appears, maybe they will be some ties to Mando's past or something related to his little green friend. Nope. By the end of the episode the entire cast is wiped clean with only Mando and little yoda left to travel to another episode located in some unknown location for some undertermined reason. We still don't even have any clear idea of why the two are together. Our only hint is when Mando tilts his helmet slightly to his left when looking towards the little green guy. I guess he likes him. I quess...

The prisoner episode is atrocious, no logic whatsoever in the story, like the zero robot was able to hack the prisoner ship but somehow couldn't counter what Mando did to the station.

Then it's just straight up baffling why Mando left the traitorous crew alive but killed the target and the guy who gave him the job?

And it's tiring to hear the main character being called Mando and Mando everywhere and by everyone, the name has no gravitas to it and it just doesn't make sense, we know there were some mandalorians left in the galaxy, the show itself showed us so, obviously people in the galaxy don't call all mandalorians by Mando, right? Just give us the name of this guy, or invent a better name.

Ep6 was ok but I did nitpick the 3 Xwings going after the station when a normal intercept of a prison barge would have seen some commando unit come in escorted. Mind you you dont see the station blow up so maybe they just disabled it so they can catch some of the goons in it for questioning.

It seems clunky but being on the run would make sense for Mando to seek new locales/jobs all the time. Not staying in any one place too long and in the process the universe gets bigger all the time. Probably gonna be like this for first couple of seasons seeing as they are so short. I think we'll see some of these new characters down the road.

Im liking this so far.

Mando cutting off the comms/taking over from the control room would make sense he must have skills and gear for a top bounty hunter/warrior.

There was a lot of fan service in this one but that was a good thing here.

I don't get the love for this show. I find the pace glacial at best. Take out all the very cool star wars props and you have almost nothing good.

The prisoner episode was just boring shots of the team walking down the same corridors. Are we meant to believe that the rebels/new republic would just swoop in and destroy a station full of people because of some random tracking beacon thingy?

The backwater planet episode (4?) with the primitive people reminded me of a poor man's stargate. You had people with sticks, standing there while the AT-ST took shots, somehow missing everybody. I guess Mando didn't want to use his explosives to kill the thing while it was resting? Why not lead them.... away from the village perhaps?

It's clear that the story isn't going anywhere. It's basically just a space western, where each episode is a short story about Mando's various adventures. Maybe they'll eventually move the over-arching story forward, but anyone who expects that from episode-to-episode will be disappointed each week.

Finished Ep5 yesterday. Weakest of the series so far. What's the overall point of The Mando flying all over the galaxy with Mini-me Yoda? Looking for a place to lay low? What's his end game?

His only goal after the second episode should have been a way to remove the tracking thing inside(?) YouthYoda. Or are they tracking midichlorians lol

Actually I really liked this episode. It's a great exploration of the kind of cut-throat world Mando operates in, and I loved having Bill Burr there too. Like I said before, the only problem is that this episode doesn't move forward the overarching story. Heck, I'm not really sure whether this show actually has an overarching story at all.

This show kind of reminds me of the 70s show Kung-Fu with David Carradine. Overarching story? LMAO. Just a guy travelin' around doing his craft.

5/10 so far. It has run out of fresh ideas the moment baby Yoda was shown.

I'm hoping for a Star Wars comedy spin-off... featuring Baby Yoda, Jar Jar Binks, Ewoks, and Porgs, with special guest stars Mallatobuck and Lumpawarrump.

Oh, forgot the part where Chewie, who has gotten over his guilt about eating Porg, invites his whole family for a huge Porg BBQ feast, complete with an Ewok on a spit, which is a well-known Wookiee delicacy. Later, after completely Porg-gorging, they all get crazy drunk drinking pint after pint of fermented blue milk, followed by all-night debauchery. Hilarity ensues the next morning when they realize Porg are infested with Salmonella....

That's because you're supposed to be in theatres watching Ruse of Skywalker on Friday.
