I will post pics as soon as my carpet is installed. I get all new carpet in the house tomorrow. Gave me a chance to rewire the whole living room. I didn't have the surround backs hooked up because I had carpet and pretty much impossible to run that far. It will look damn nice when done. I'll post pics tomorrow after it's all hooked up. Here are my specs:

Sony 46" Bravia LCD
Toshiba HD-A3 HDDVD player
ONKYO 605 7.1 channel receiver with Dolby True HD and DTS Master encoding, HDMI switching (2 in, 1 out)
Polk Audio PSW 650 Dual 10" sub
Polk Audio RM 6751's (6 of them)
Polk Audio Center
Direct TV Ultimate package with all the HD channels
All speaker wire is Phillips 16g (took over 200ft to wire the room!!)
3 HDMI cables by Monoprice.com

Before

And after

Next I am moving the surrounds to the ceiling since the house came pre wired for 7.1 surround.

This is a soon-to-be entertainment center, with my XBR3 photoshopped in.

i'm curious why you placed your subwoofer in such an orientation (i.e., equidistant to adjacent walls). i assume you're not experiencing standing waves from that channel when oriented as such?

That's it's sweet spot. I have tried all positions and with the back ports firing at the corner and the two subs firing at each direction, I don't have to turn it up as loud. This sub is not "tight" for music, it's rather boomy. Great sub for movies and TV. It will shake the house.

Yeah man. Thats one of the beauties of home cinema seperates, buy things as you go along, piece by piece to your tastes.

We were using floor standers at our old house which was fine because the speakers were to our left and right, but in our new place they're placed behind us on the left and right and blocked by the sofa, so now we have to buy some stands and book shelf speakers

Old floor standers (rears) going in dining room, which is gonna be sweet.

Wow, that is a very appealing gameroom. Visually pleasing, and looks relaxing.

Nice work, I like it.
