Default 2900XT Crossfire Overclocking & Custom Bios

I have been overclocking my 2900XT's in CF using amd gpu tool to clock both cards, but since 7.11 and crysis hotfix i cant get the clocks for both cards to stick.

sooo I was thinking about flashing the cards with a custom bios, much like the pro to xt bios flash..

does anyone know much about this process and how would i go about getting a 2900XT 512mb bios with raised clocks? i just want to keep stock memory but have both cores at 828.

thanks

You can take a look at CF overclocking at www.quantum-force.net. I've been able to flash my 2900xts but still cannot see any improvement in benchmarks.

Wow....you're the man! I didn't know that this tool was released to the public yet!

the memory on the 2900XT overclocks pretty good ,on my Gecube 2900XT ,I have no problems running it at 875/2000 the memory will do 2100 ,but no use in going overboard.I going to use that bios editor and see if I can get it stable at 925 with the voltage increase .I don't see but one voltage increase ,I hope it is for the GPU ,I don't need one for the memory.

For me increasing gpu volts does nothing. Temps are fine, but i only have a water block over the gpu. Might be a heat problem over the voltage regulators. I'm clueless.

I'm at 950 on the core with 1.35V so far. I have water blocks on mine, but I have a 120mm of each of the card's PCB components. THis is CRUCIAL for stability.
