The phone is just a tool to arrange a date. Use the phone to call them and set it up. Then don't talk to them again until the actual date. Drop her off, kiss her good night, and call her up several days later to set up the next date. Rinse and repeat. This is dating.

Now we have cell phones, and guys talk to women all day and night through texts and tell them their whole life story and wonder why it only lasts a couple of days before they get ghosted. And stop telling them every single detail of your life, it's not necessary. That includes telling them how you feel about certain things and being all mushy. That's what her girlfriends are for, don't be the girlfriend.

Face to face is the only thing that counts in dating.
This 💯 %. They should be contacting you. They need to wonder about your feelings. 80/20 texting.

You have to figure out why that is.
Repeating your's and other people's mistakes is a very depressing way to live life...

I think everyone who seeks advice here are bad listeners?

Reason why I haven't grown as much I should have is because I was too scared to try new things. So I have been through a few incredibly bumpy rides, but at least I am learning to be a more responsible adult.

So I am not where I want to be in life when I had high aspirations when I was in my early 20s - that's okay. Not everything is perfectly and what you hope it'll be and I am already way more fortunate than others.

What I have to do is stop pretending to be someone else and just live my days finding proper meaning in life, developing goals, and aiming to be a responsible man. Everything else is simply moot at this point.

There’s a select few people here who ask for advice and then don’t take a single bit of it.

To be fair, that's 99% of the internet. I don't think people really want advice from the internet (nor should they), but they use it as way to just let out what they can't talk about to people they know face to face.

You are scared to try new things because of your last point...

Nothing will scare you if it has meaning. Things will become challenges instead of tasks.
