Malibu Coconut Rum 20%
Orange Juice 80%

Serve ice cold, and it's just juice to the taste buds.

Rum should be swapped a good Bourbon, and mixed with Egg Nog it's amazing.

You've just never had real, good egg nog; try Alton Brown's "standard" recipe:

Probably when I am old and senile and forget who I am, and some Rager takes me out of the rest home for the day.

For me it was these lil bastids

I'd had sips and lil shots before, but the first time I actually got drunk it was the Lil Kings.
Ironically, the first time I ever puked was from the first time I smoked really good weed. Gawd, what a gusher that was. I was in the back seat of my best friend's older brother's car. It was enough to fill up one of those big Sonic cups and then some.

Not sure what the research might say, but I have an impression that humans vary considerably with regard to how they tolerate and/or crave alcohol. Personally, I like to have a drink or two every now and then, but I have no idea how others need to have a drink to start the day; that sort of dependency isn't in my genes. I'm having a beer right now, but honestly wouldn't miss it that much if I never had it again.

That said... I'd suggest trying a variety of different types of alcohol... wine, beer, brandy, spirits, etc... and see what you like. A shot of chocolate liqueur can go well with a meal. But perhaps you'll find alcohol just isn't for you at all....

It takes a lot more than that to become an alcoholic. Although, it's good to be conscious of the possibilities...

I know. I'm just pointing out that my first drinking experience didn't make me immediately come back for more.

You should try drinking Ozzie style.

AKA, the correct way to do it.

It's entirely possible that I'm drinking a VB longneck right now. It's not in a brown paper bag though, and I'm not in a public park, so I'm not really doing it properly.

If you're not suitably inspired yet, just watch this marvel of 80's Australian advertising.

Dutch eggnog, or 'Advocaat' has the consistency of a thick custard and will mess you up. It's eaten with a tiny spoon rather than drunk, and I've seen it only once here in the US. Worth it.

I uhh... oh my god...

That stuff...

It triggered my gag reflex something wicked.

From what I gather, you either love it or can't drink it... lol

I haven't drank any in ~8 years. But I did in the past. Dunno where that puts me on the list. LOL

Started a bit earlier than that... when I was around six or seven my family went out for dinner and had wine with the meal, so I had some too. I tumbled down the stairs on the way out....

Drank again with the wife last night, making that twice. Sex was great, btw. Seriously I don't get why anyone drinks if they're not getting laid.

Likely depends a lot on the particular people involved, how they respond to alcohol, and how sexually repressed they are.

Just wait until you try some good herbal supplements...

Stoner boner is far better than whiskey dick.

Speed is even better for that (at least equal), also low doses of deliriants.

Back to alcohol, after years of drinking to excess, up to ~double lethal dose (almost 1,5L of 40% in an hour for example, without tolerance) I came to the conclusion that 100 - 150 ml at once or in few minutes is actually the most optimal dose. Better late than never heh.

Stick to high quality vodka, it's closest to the purest form of alcohol between 40% spirits and the healthiest heh. Don't bother with beer and wine, those work for social situations and sipping but if you are clearly after the altered state of mind, the one from booze is much higher quality and you don't have to consume liters of fluid just to get drunk. Wine is also really low quality alcohol (we have cleaning products that give better hangovers than that) and more toxic in higher doses, no matter what the French say.

Garth Merenghi quotes
Most of you will probably know me already from my extensive canon of chillers including "Afterbirth" in which a mutated placenta attacks Bristol.

Everyone has a special talent. Mine is being able to write, produce direct, act, paint... Other people are good plumbers, that's their gift.

There are rebels and there are innovators. I'm a rebel. I play a rebel brain expert who's in rebelliance against conventional logic, who's in rebelliance against the world order. It's about rebelliance. And if that's not being an innovator, I don't know what is.

In times of conflict, when you're up against an agressor, be he human, be he inhuman, whoe'er he be, often he is both.

Greetings traveller. Who am I? Perhaps you have met me twixt sleep and and wake - in the penumbra of uncertainity you call unconsiousness... you know, my books are essentialy about "what ifs". In "Black Fang" I asked - what if a rat could drive a bus? And what if it and its rat brethren took over and ate Parliment?

A lot of people say "Garth Merenghi? Doesn't he write that horror crap?" Well, you're an idiot, because my books always say something, even if it's simple like "Don't geneticaly engineer crabs to be as big as man". There's always a message or a theme.
