I have updated the web page for you to provide 2 different methods of disabling one of the GPU chips.

As for games, yes, you should have no problems playing 3D games after this.

I offer one little warning though, you may have degraded performance in Win2k vs Win98se for gaming, not only because of Win2K's architecture, but because you are disabling one of your GPU chips. Most people only have one GPU anyway so you should do well compared to them, but by sticking with Win98se you allow yourself the true benefits of Fury MAXX. I have created this webpage just to make people's lives easier, since ATI has been so uncooperative to create an honest set of Fury MAXX drivers; but 98se remains the recommended OS for this video card.

good luck

the GPU chip on your left side is chip #2, so disable that one.

as far as jumpers go, i cant tell from the picture, but whatever it is set to, simply set it the other way

ex:

if it is currently this

0
x
x

then set it to this

x
