![]() Why does SS2 seem to run so crummy at times on my PC? Can anyone maybe post some tweaks and such to improve IQ and help with perf? |

![]() If you have the texture quality set to 32-bit, change it to optimal, you won't notice the difference. The 32-bit option is uncompressed textures and kills every system. |

![]() Yes set it to optimal, even compressed won't take away much IQ. Sam2 is the most well optimized game out right now. It's one of the few that actually use hi-res textures and still the peak commit charge remains below 450mb. Come to think of it, Sam1 used to run fantastic on TNT2's back when GF3's were the norm. |
