Default Is there a way to stream PS4 games to PC?

My idea is to get a PS4 for the living room, but on the off chance I'm unable to play in front of my TV, can you sort of "stream" a PS4 game to PC and play on a e.g. x360 controller? Also my PC monitor is 1440p so not sure on that aspect either... Thanks!

I don't think streaming is an option unless you've got specific Sony hardware, but I do know this: I have my PS4 Pro hooked up to an iiyama ProLite B2783QSU-B1 2560x1440 and it works flawlessly.

Hmm it might be an option according to this:

So now the question is do you really need a PS4 controller for it? Or you can remap an x360 one somehow?

The remote play app won't sync until you plug in the PS4 controller. Maybe you can emulate it with software, I'm not sure.

This video seems to suggest you can emulate it

Yes it works with the playstation application, and I plugged my PS4 controller via USB. Never tried it using bluetooth.

Never noticed lag, but I'm not really picky. Played a couple of NHL games when the missus wanted to watch stuff on the HTPC.
