Sniper Elite rocks!

Damn is this game awesome. It easily has the best AI i have ever seen in a game, the AI is so damn good it's scary.

GFX are pretty good, but gameplay is just pure tension. Great game!

This isn't referring to the god-awful Sniper game that was released about a year ago? That was a first person shooter that you spend a lot of your time in a jail or something, awful models, awful AI, bad bad bad. That was absolutely horrid...

Is this the game where you're planted in a sniper's nest and that's where you are the whole game long, but you have to pick off targets like soldiers? I remember seeing screenshots a while back, they said it was going to be good...

Its all fun & games till it abruptly locks your system up with a long whine before rebooting it for you... Seems to affect Audigy 2 users with any kind of hardware acceleration enabled.. ¬_¬ so i play it on xbox instead ^_^

I have a great uncle that was a sniper in WW2. He was in Europe. Had a chest full of ribbons and medals. He's dead now, he had some cool pics & storys!

Has something to do with the fact that peripheral vision is more sensitive to movement, so you have better situational awareness.

yea but see how the whole area around the scope is perfectly visible. they should cut off the half where the eye is on the scope and only have the other eye free see outside of it.

Heh, a new FPS feature, "Iguana Vision!" A split screen of independent views that you can tab between. One view for the scope, one for your surroundings.

OK, maybe not what you meant, but sounds cool in a reptillian sort of way
