Default Rage3D Cooler Master Aquagate ALC-U01 Review

I've just published a review of the Aquagate ALC-U01, Cooler Master's first shot at the Liquid Cooling market.
The main part of the kit consists of a compact unit clad in thick aluminum that measures 220mm (L) x 148mm (W) x 88mm (H) and is designed to fit in just two 5¼" drive bays, placed externally, or even in a second PSU bay if your case happens to have one. The front of the unit has the cooling fan which draws air through a metal mesh. A bright blue LCD panel displays water and CPU temperatures and allows you to control alarm settings, fan speeds, and display options.
The whole kit is an excellent example of Cooler Master's ability to design and manufacture not only unique and very versatile products but also very cool looking ones as well.

Better late than never, read the full review here.

My main problem with this entire review was the fact that I didn't have a clue about water-cooling when I first started. It took me quite a lot of catching up, research and reading forums and stuff like that to get a feel for the whole water-cooling/pro-cooling community. I'm still not saying I know a hell of a lot about it, but I feel much more comfortable now than I did when I first got the thing. I'm hoping for some of the really hardcore water-cooling guys to come and poke holes in the review so that I could be better prepared for the next one.

Not to toot my own horn, but I really like how I made the Aquagate logo look like it was floating on the water there and the kinda glowy Prince of Persia water effect that it has. I think it's one of my better review backgrounds so far. I love Photoshop.

CCC themes coming shortly
