hah been playing console retro games on my pc!
I used to have a playstation long ago but it broke , had so many games... Last time i tried using this playstation emulator i could hardly get anything working and anything that did was dead slow ( slow computer , old version ). But ive just been playing wipeout and castlevania with this latest version and plugins  . So sweeet , maybe i should pick up a couple of classics on ebay Anybody got any recommendations?  Got the plugin set to Texture Quality : best colours and H-RES textures ( 2XSal ) , so much fun runs awsome with fps limiter on aswell!. Originaly i was clocking 400fps with no limiter on

my pcsx2 works, but my low spec rig is just too slow... on a c2d 7800+/1650+ rig it will run smoothly, not perfect picture, but playable, @ bilinear filtering and 4x AA. very nice looking when enabled. |

But not only that the PC version of FF7 from what i remembered had it's music castrated. MP3 awesome music turned to midi files  .The music was one of the biggest things for me in that game.

Well, I didn't know that the PS1 version is so much better. But I don't feel like redownloading this game so I'll just play it on my PC directly.

Breath Of Fire 3 Breath Of Fire 4 Bust A Groove Castlevania - Symphony of the Night  Chrono Cross Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy 7 Final Fantasy 8 Final Fantasy 9 Final Fantasy Tactics Legend Of Dragoon Legend Of Mana Suikoden Suikoden 2 Tactics Orge Teken 2 Teken 3 Tenchu Twisted Metal Twisted Metal 2 Vandal Hearts Vandal Hearts 2 All greats games imho all play excellent on epsxe apart from Breath Of Fire 3 where its playable but runs at about 30fps which is a long standing epsxe bug for sometime. Also I use Petes OpenGL2 plugin ver 2.8, since it has a higher resolotion X and Y texture mode that my X1800 can take advantage of makes games look even better. Also I recommend Epsxe 1.5.2 over 1.6, as 1.6 has nasty bugs in FF7 and FF9. Last edited by Dem2k : Jan 7, 2007 at 05:55 AM. |
