Default Resident Evil 5 - ( Not Pc )

An eventual PC version of Capcom's Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) is quite likely, going by comments made by producer Jun Takeuchi and the studio's past history. In this interview with with Eurogamer, Takeuchi revealed that the survival horror title is being primarily developed on the PC and then ported over to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Capcom previously used a similar setup for the development of Devil May Cry 4, which began life as a PS3 exclusive but was eventually moved to Xbox 360 and PC as well.

So they might include mouse support?

It would be nice, but the game might be too easy if they include it.

Surely this version is being made to have serpate walking and aiming controls, the lack of which in RE4 was the obvious reason that game didn't support using a mouse.

Very true, I skipped code verionica and didn't finish RE3 but I had to read tons of pages of lore regarding RE to keep up with the story.

Destructoid has contacted Capcom to confirm whether or not Resident Evil 5 was going to be released for the PC and were told “nope”.

A very tenuous rumour’s been doing the rounds in the past 24 hours that said the stunning horror was heading to the desktop. Consider it crushed.

“Nope, it has only been announced for PS3 and Xbox 360,” said a spokesperson. “Our UK office will be following up with Spong [the rumour’s originator - Ed] to have this corrected.”

So there you go.
