Artifacts in SC2 using 7850, what's up?

Using the 12.6 beta drivers, and now for the first time while playing SC2 for a few hours I started getting strange graphical bugs and flickering that looks akin to a GPU being too hot.

According to GPU-Z which i pulled up while this was happening and had running for a few minutes while this was going on showed a maximum of 53.0 degrees this can't be too hot can it?

I've got an Asus 7850 with DCII cooler, the case doesn't have great ventilation but none of the sensors give off any readings that would seem too high and I haven't overclocked it at all...

Temp is fine. Rollback the driver to see if it continues, at least for piece of mind.

53.0 degrees celsius is not hot at all for a videocard during load. Don't worry about damage, even 100 degrees celsius would not fry the gpu instantly.
Generally, around 70 during load is commonly seen.

So what you are seeing is not a heat issue.

Possibly the driver isn't playing nice with the game. Or something else software-wise...
