![]() Wife's less than one year old Explorer Sport had to be towed to the dealer. All of the traction and check lights came on, and it won't move. Worst part is she was in the line to drop off my kiddo at school, so that caused a huge backup. She pissed. ![]() Off to a great start with the ole Ford... |

![]() Started both cars after over 10 days of no using them due to the lockdown. The Jetta's battery is reaching it's end of life and don't want any surprises later...

Connect the charger to the battery at the slowest rate, fully charge the battery and then disconnect it. Your battery will be much happier. Is it a sealed batter or can you access the cells? Many batteries can have years added to them by adding deionized water to the cells as they get low. Slow charge it after adding the DI water.

![]() This is an uncommon situation, don't have a maintainer or starter and will not get one before this lockdown ends. ![]() They are sealed VW OEM batteries

![]() Spent some time on the track car this weekend. Changed engine, trans, diff oil, and had new tires mounted on the wheels. Spent this morning checking over the suspension and re-torquing everything to spec.

![]() Put the track car wheels/tires on and dropped it off the jack stands, then took it for a test drive. Discovered the dealer used very tall wheel weights and they are hitting my brake calipers. Will be removing my wheels/tires tomorrow morning and hauling everything back to the dealer. ![]()

![]() Yeah, I took it to the local Chevy dealer instead of my usual place because I needed it done quick. They did it this morning in 20min, free of charge. This was definitely not their fault, as I think it would clear any OEM caliper out there. Mine are far from OEM. They corrected it quick and all is well! ![]()

![]() Just brought in the wheels/tires only with my XTerra. Very rarely ever are my cars brought anywhere for anything, even tires. I do everything myself. My friends and I have been talking about getting our own mounting/balancing machine. So depending how that goes, I won't even have to bring wheels/tires in.

![]() Put some spacers on the OEM wheels for the 4C.. A lot more difficult than it should be... Because of the carbon fiber tub, you just can't jack it up any old way. The few jack locations it has are pretty far under the car. Needless to say, this car is 10x worse getting off the ground than my race car (which is saying something). |

![]() Put a thicc rear sway bar in (same as Roadhog_ just did), best $150 I've ever spent on a car. Got it for a good price from a buddy in Dallas. ![]() Car stays so flat, traction is so much better, less understeer, just love the change. I've done front sway bars before, never rear, never had as big a change as this one. I chalk that up to the added AWD traction from staying flatter in turns, compared to a RWD car that's flatter up front but not so much in the rear... |

![]() I did not. After looking at where the scrape marks were on my 4C, Scrape Armor would have been way overkill. More than one row of SLiPLO would be overkill at least for the 4C. |

![]() Replaced the right side fairing on the Daytona. Dropped the bike at the track in the paddock a couple years ago and just now getting around to replacing it. ![]() Also spent about 12 hours fixing the yellow ZO6 that I use for 1/2 Mile events and street driving. Replaced the power steering/alternator bracket that sheared apart, put on a new Gates belt for the blower, installed a new LS2 style power steering pulley, and topped off all the fluids after it had overheated last year. Ran it through a couple heat cycles to try and get any air out of the system, but didn't go nuts since my neighbors were home across the street with the windows open. Will finish it up next weekend. Need to order new front tires for it, as something is off on suspension and eating the inside shoulder quite badly. Going to do a toe correction and see if that's just off somehow. We will see, but the car is pretty much back in business. ![]()

![]() Bought a set of new front R888R tires for the ZO6. Scheduled an alignment on Friday to try and find the problem. Also ordered a new front air dam set. The original center air dam was mangled by the cable used to pull the car up onto the trailer. Didn't have enough boards, so we just made it work. It was all scraped up and in rough shape anyway. Car is coming together quick, will be nice to get it on the road again. Will schedule it in for some body work soon if no other issues pop up. Car is in need of a lot of TLC.

![]() Cleaned up the Jag since it's been a while since it was washed (probably back in March when it was in a car show). Then took the cover off the 4C and went out for a drive. |

![]() Mounted new R888R's on the yellow Z yesterday and had the suspension and alignment checked. All looks good. Took it out for a couple hour drive today to burn up the tank of 9mo old gas in it and fill it up with fresh 93. Also have it scheduled in for body work on July 14th.
