Default Mountain fire near my home... seriously 2020?

So, here we have had earth quakes, Covid-19, and now this fire... so when is zombies, alien attack, or ELE level meteor coming?

People are being evacuated that are near by, my home is far enough away to not have to worry about it. The fire started a few hours ago, and a huge gust of wind made it bigger. Originally it was 2 separated fires with big distance between the 2, like 3 miles distance, but then the gust of winds came through and it joined the 2 fires together.

Don't take that distance for granted Eisberg. A wildfire can cover a lot of territory very quickly under the right conditions. Stay safe and be ready to get your family out of there pronto if need be.

Stay safe, Lettuce.

I'm hearing it's going to be a brutal fire season around the country. We've had a very wet spring, which causes more growth, and supposedly going to have a warm dry summer. Bad combination.

Arizona is burning all over

people never learn after a very wet winter cut the brush down before it dries out

i went up to Prescott last week and there were 3 burned places along I-17 and it is burning again today at Pioneer

It was started by people doing fireworks in an area where it is illegal. They have suspects, and if they did do it they'll have to pay fines and pay for all costs associated with the fire.

Here is the aftermath

This happened near Lehi Utah

My son is going to college in Prescott in August. Hopefully it will still be standing when he gets there.

Let this be a warning. Don’t cross bill or he’ll clear bag your relatives, who will never be seen or heard from again...

at the lettuce jokes.

And in other news another major fire near a neighboring city is on the mountain, they are evacuating 13000 people, and there are very strong winds tonight.

I can see the fire near my home, but much further away.
