I noticed that on Newegg they have 2 flavors of this card - Sapphire and Powercolor. The Powercolor card's pictures page shows 2 power cables (maybe one of them is the 8-pin cable) but no Crossfire link cable. The Sapphire card's pictures page shows the Crossfire link cable, but no power cables.

No cables for crossfire, starting from x1950pro and forth

just two inside connectors connecting gfx cards

that must be a mistake, they probably meant connector

It's a connector "cable" about 2 inches long and flexible. Got mine today (card came with 1 cable). It's flexible as it's made out of flat flexible circuit board like material, similar to those flat cables you see connecting drive components and such. Should be perfect for connecting two cards together.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a second card today and giving it a try =p

Got my 2 HIS 2900XT today, Like you said the each come with a interconnector. Switching in and out of crossfire in Vista 64 is a bit buggy but they should be able to fix that (soon I hope).
