Notebook Chipset Info
DigiTimes has posted an article about Intel's launch of several integrated products for its new-generation Banias and Dothan notebook platforms. In the article they talked a little a bit about what ATI is going to do to respond to the pressure.
Given Intel’s even greater dominance of the notebook market compared to the desktop market, the pressure on other graphics chip designers is no doubt greater. Faced with the increasing competition, chip suppliers like ATI Technologies and Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) are planning to launch new graphics chips or integrated chipsets to consolidate their market presence.
