Default Hardware upgrade...

I am currently running a 1.8ghz CPU @ 2.4ghz (133 FSB). My memory isn't running at 266 tho.

I want to upgrade my memory and was thinking for PC2700 (333mhz). With that I need to upgrade my CPU. I was thinking about upgrading to a P4 2.4ghz (with 133FSB default) and then overclocking to 166mhz FSB (to run ram at top speed).

Does anybody have any experiance with running a 2.4ghz P4 @ 3.0ghz?

I do NOT want to increase Vcore if I dont have to.

My system is kinda at its last upgrade point. This is all I can really do to this system. It doesnt' support HT and it doesn't run 800mhz FSB. Im running a 9800pro and I think my CPU is limiting...but this will fix that.

Current Specs:
P4 1.8ghz @ 2.4ghz (1.55 vcore)
768mb of DDR (200mhz).
9800np flashed to pro + overclock (415//360)
SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 <---but I use a USB headset anyways
WindowsXP professional

Now, I plan on upgrading after next summer to an AMD64, but its too new and too uncertain at this point so im going to wait untill the technology matures (probably at least .09 micron).
