I have installed the 3 D Mark 11 and the software is simply wonderful. The difference is really visible and this from my point of view is a must have for all the game lovers out there. The performance is unbelievably stunning. The graphics in my games has never been this good before. Also it is far better than the previous version. Thrilled to have bought it.

My score with a 980x at 4.6 Ghz and 3 GTX580's running at stock speeds and using the latest WHQL driver released a couple of days ago:

Might bust the 15K mark fairly easily if i do overclock the video cards..

Yeah, I don't. It's hydra. 3dmark doesn't seem to acknowledge it. If you check my system specs, you will see that I also have a 465. My score is actually relatively low considering that.

Just grabbed P15172, first run with my fresh 6990+6970x2 quad-fire. IMO there's little advantage, watching these cards underutilized, unless you're pushing Eyefinity. I've tweaked my windows timer resolution to great effect, eliminating micro-stutter so oft summoned as a pejorative mark against 3 or 4 sli gtx comparisons. My P49000(air) P 51000 (water) vantage (6970 x 3) score absolutely collapses in quadfire, as I'm averaging 170fps in graphic test 1 but all cards (essentially) stop working subsequent several seconds in test 2. Not surprisingly, these cards LOVE support from high CPU clocks..there's a detectable difference between 4.9 & 5.3 GHz, though I've not measured it. I'll likely not pursue 5.4 GHz, as the magnitude alone makes my genitals shrivel.

If I had excess money I'd upgrade my system, but I'm going to hold out a bit longer for Bulldozer. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

BTW, to get to 5ghz on the CPU is that on air or water cooled? If that's air, I guess these chips are awesome o/c?

Its on air with Cooler Master V6GT. I dont use that clock setup for daily usage but only benchmark. Currently I run the processor @ 4.7ghz for safety daily usage thought it more than enough, my opinion.
