FireGL/FirePro mods? IQ...
I have read (very old 2002ish Maximum PC) articles that Workstation class drivers offer subpixel accuracy over Gaming drivers. This is curious to me as they also mention how it's possible to see gaps in between textures, etc with inaccurate gaming drivers. Well has anyone observed the superior visual Image quality of using FirePro/FireGL drivers, and if there is a noticable difference... has anyone softmodded their RV770 class cards to FirePro/FireGL? I would definitely prefer accuracy over speed.
PS. i did find this link, which suggests the possibility of softmods for the Radeon HD 4800; http://lounge.ego-farms.com/showthread.php?p=19957
