Anyone else playing this due to Epic giving it away?

I'm 4 hours in and really liking it. The game world is total nonsense, and despite scenes of extreme depravity, doesn't take itself seriously at any point.

I really liked it when it came out.

I played it on game pass. It was on my Steam wishlist before that.

Im playing it now. While the games fun enough, its every bit as buggy as every other bethesda game and it wasnt even actually made by bethesda... i wonder if this means the real problem is bethesdas quality control and not the actual development?

Hell, if you remove the ai bug this game is almost as buggy as cyberpunk.

I played on Ironman setting for about 4-5 hrs on recent giveaway until I died which resets the game in this mode to the start, that was the plan, done and uninstalled again until the next time. Fun, a few graphical bugs but overall very stable and playable like it was the first time round I recal.

It is surprisingly fun and satisfying to use the "push" power on enemies and watch yourself charge at them and then their bodies go flying. Never get's old and when it's available I use it.

the vortex is as fun too, especially fully upgraded with the 5 seconds of anti grav time. Though honestly i often just forgot to use the, even when surrounded and dying

The game is like a cross between Cyberpunk and Mad Max. The open world is smaller than Cyberpunk, but at least it's not as buggy and doesn't take itself nearly as serious. Plenty of action and some areas can be challenging even on the easiest skill setting.

? Ive played both, and other than the first person view thing, i dint see any similarities between rage 2 and cyberpunk. Even the mad max thing i found somewhat iffy, as it the standard open world bandit dens and the general driving were the only things similar to me, and that was because i imagine they were made by the same team


EDIT: if i was gonna describe this game as anythng related to other games, i'd would say doom 2016 + mad max + far cry new dawn.

Perhaps loosely all of the above. Either way it is quite a fun game, even if a bit simple.
