These seem also to have fixed my problems in Metro Exodus with Freesync!

For grins I selected custom install and had it perform a clean install rather than an express upgrade. No issues everything went well just had to manually delete the old drivers from C:/AMD afterwards.

Freesync & LFR seems to be working, still getting used to this Acer ED242QR A. Video playback is smooth.

No Exceptions being generated by ATI.ACE.CLI unlike the previous drivers.
They seem to be working well on my old rig.
